**Job Description**:
**JO**B SUMMARY**

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the viability of critical building equipment by ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is performed on the equipment that supports 1,000,000 square feet of RVH. This includes RVH, Rotary House, Dialysis, Detox and several off-site buildings. This position will also be vacation relief for the Maintenance Supervisors.

**Preventative Maintenance Scheduling**:

- Through the use of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) schedule manpower, equipment and resources to ensure equipment sustainability.

**Database maintenance and updates**
- Maintaining monitoring assessing and updating the CMMS database and automated maintenance requisitioning system.
- Maintain appropriate records to facilitate internal and external audits.

**Analysis and Reporting**:

- Generating reports for various levels of the organization.
- Analysing trends and interpreting data to ascertain issues and develop solutions.
- Prepare project completion reports.
- Identification of safety issues
- Prepare/update of Corporate Standard Operation Procedures & Policies

**Project Management**
- Plan and execute various maintenance projects such as generator load bank testing, HVAC inspection and cleaning, fire alarm verification, etc.
- Preparation of job plans to sequence contractors and project partners.

**Budget Management**
- This position is responsible for assisting the Director to ensure that budgets are on track and any over/under spending is accounted for. Also assists with budget preparation and analysis.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies up to $250K. This includes working with Buying Purchaser.

**EDUATION**:

- 4 years post Secondary School education in a related trade in any of the following areas: Certified Engineering Technologist, BA in Engineering Sciences, preferably Mechanical, or equivalent Mechanical Trade qualification and current applicable trade license/certificate/designation
- Previous mechanical trade experience
- Previous experience in project planning
- Project Management and/or Facilities Management designation
- Demonstration of significant experience would be considered as an alternate to PMP or FMP
- Previous experience with building systems
- Excellent customer service and financial management skills
- Demonstrate excellence in interpersonal, verbal and written communication, customer service, analytical approach, and teamwork skills
