Corporate Parts Inventory Analyst

Brandt is currently seeking a Corporate Parts Inventory Analyst - Truck & Trailer for our Regina location.
The Corporate Inventory Analyst - Truck & Trailer works closely with the ordering teams, specifically the Truck & Trailer division within Brandt Tractor. Truck & Trailer being our Peterbilt and Brandt Manufacturing line of products and supporting vendors. Providing reporting and data analytics for many aspects as it relates to inventory control, stock leveling, and data integrity. Be a part of projects pertaining to new product lines, product changeovers, cross reference material as well as vendor management and analytics. Analyze and coordinate vendor returns to determine the best course of action whether it be transfers to central hubs or direct to vendors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report Creation and Running (Stock Leveling / Returns / Data Integrity)
- Running price tapes, checks, and update within the business system.
- Manage ongoing relationship with key vendors and their personnel
- Complete price checks at bordering dealers quarterly
- Ensure update of all prices assigned from Paccar align with our pricing strategy
- Provide input on pricing changes that need to be made
- Set up parts inventory stocking hubs for parts needed regionally to centralize parts which are not supportable at each individual location
- Complete surplus returns and provide to stores to pick/execute
- Return Closeouts (AR Docs / Removal of Inventory)
- Special Projects (Product Changeover / Cross References / Strategic Sourcing)
- Create larger top up, seasonal or container load orders to be reviewed by Inventory Manager.
- Will be a Subject Matter Expert within the Truck & Trailer business segment
- Additional Duties as assigned
**Required Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Analytical / critical thinker who can problem solve and think outside the box
- Ability to contribute to process improvement in regards to parts processes
- Strong work ethic, willing to put in extra time as needed to get the job done
- A demonstrated history of managing inventory for regional distribution and working with department managers for local inventory at the branch (right parts, right place, right time and right price)
