Reporting to the Director of Innovation, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for partnering with stakeholders to ensure inventory count is up to date, logging all inventory in the WMS, and ensuring that quantities of products, materials, and supplies are always maintained. This position will be located out of our Delta facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Tally the physical inventory and compare it to system reports.
- Ensure production and warehouse staff have the correct and proper amount of ingredients for the day.
- Work directly with the production and warehouse staff to resolve ingredient conflicts, shortages, or issues.
- Perform line checks and audits to ensure that the correct ingredients are being used.
- Monitor inventory and production demands and advise on all inventory issues.
- Work closely with the purchaser on low stock items to prevent inventory shortages and ensure that inventory is correct and up to date.
- Performs weekly and monthly inventory system reconciliations of all inventories including, finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
- Ensure accurate inventory systems are maintained at all internal facilities and 3rd party warehouses.
- Review expiry dates and FIFO rotation at all warehouses.
- Performs bill of lading/warehouse receipt matching with internal and 3rd party shipment documents.
- Assist in ERP implementation at warehouse.
- Issue and monitor top up requests from production and warehouse staff.
- Validate and ensure inventory data is accurately reflected in the WMS.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory at a Food Production facility
- Must be Proficient to work Excel & MS office
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for at least an hour if needed
- Previous experience working with ERP and WMS is preferred
- CPIM will be considered as an asset
- Forklift license will be considered as an asset
