We are looking for a career minded dedicated person to join our team Onsite training, competitive wages, a comprehensive benefit plan and retirement savings profit sharing program, assistance for continuing education and an exciting work environment We are currently looking for a combined position of Estimator and Project Manager, to help us grow our business, improve on existing relationships and provide our clients a smooth experience. We are looking for someone who can handle projects from beginning to end. Estimator-Responsibilities: Calculate various statistical data - quantity take offs from drawings, specifications, addendum's, material price list, labour cost per man hour. Review construction specifications, project plans and other contract documents for an understanding of the tender submission. Update and maintain project list. Prepare and submit tenders and bids. Create and maintain relationships with customers Project Coordinator - Responsibilities: Work closely with customers and UCRS Operations team. Ensure project deadlines, budget, and quality of work is performed to company standards. Prepare and submit contract start up and close out documents, including billings Build and develop relationships with existing and new customers. Participate in project meetings, review schedules and prepare reports. Assist management with projects from pre-bid pricing to post construction analysis. Qualifications/Skills: 3 years of Project Management/Estimator experience Strong multitasker Solid communication skills - written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft (word, excel, outlook) as well as Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat Strong in decision making Ability to stay within allotted budgets Ability to read blueprints, to properly measure areas of work needed Strong organizational skills A "can do" attitude Excellent interpersonal skills Punctual and pays attention to detail Proven track record of successful project completions G License required, as mobility is essential in the role. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Bonus pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - construction estimating: 3 years (preferred)
