**Junior Immigration Attorney - Remote**

VisaPlace Legal, a worldwide leader in providing immigration services, is seeking a Junior Immigration Lawyer to join their team.

We practice exclusively in the area of Canadian and U.S. immigration and have been serving our worldwide clients for over 20 years. With extensive knowledge of immigration law, we have successfully helped thousands of people’s dreams come to reality. Our award-winning company has been featured in the Toronto Star, Globe, and Mail, and Maclean’s magazine and our signature attorneys have been featured on CTV, the CBC, and CityTV, to name a few.
- Responsible for the direct supervision of the assigned legal team consisting of legal Caseworkers and Customer Service Representatives, and Immigration Consultants
- Maintaining and overseeing all communication with clients, while appropriately managing client expectations
- Reviewing and assessing client documentation in order to determine eligibility
- Keeping up to date with changes to laws, regulations, manuals, policies, procedures, and processes, and communicating those to clients
- Following up with clients to ensure timely completion of their files, and
- Managing a high volume of immigration-related cases and staying on top of deadlines

**Qualifications**
- Active license to practice law in the US
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in managing a high volume of immigration cases
- Experience in overseeing and providing guidance to a legal team on a daily basis
- Ability to listen, empathize, build rapport and connect with prospective clients, as well as the ability to set and manage client expectations through effective and timely communications, thus ensuring the highest quality of customer service and professional services
- Ability to think constructively and outside the box to provide prospective clients with all possible options for their specific situation
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and
- Experience utilizing legal case management tracking systems
