**Shipping/ Receiving - Material Control Clerk**

Koss Aerospace, a global leader in the high-quality production of aircraft components is currently seeking a full-time permanent **Shipping/ Receiving - Material Control Clerk **- to join our manufacturing team on the day shift, which is from 7:30 am to 4.:00 pm Monday through Friday. This position is responsible for all functions related to operating a forklift, as well as shipping and receiving products and helping with production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be a certified forklift driver to operate forklifts or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Verifies type and quantity of material received. Completes required documentation
  • Maintain internal computerized record-keeping systems
  • Maintains Electronic Records through the use of Excel
  • Performs transactions as required using the Company ERP/Database
  • Stores received materials and delivers to destination department per schedules
  • Maintain Raw Material Stores
  • Maintain Finished Goods Stores
  • Ensures complete and accurate shipments of finished goods to customers
  • Prepares and packs product as required
  • Performs a variety of quality checks to ensure standards and specifications are met
  • Perform and document all inspections of forklifts
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderate operating issues involving inventory
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A robust and symbiotic relationship with the Operations team is necessary
  • Must wear all required PPE as required, including safety glasses, gloves, and seatbelts
  • Complete all required paperwork in a neat and professional manner
  • Leadership and ownership of the department, job responsibilities, and job function
  • Manage all functions related to cleaning and sanitizing their work area

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum High School; associated degree or higher preferred
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with EPR systems required
  • Forklift experience/ or Overhead crane experience is an asset
  • Previous shipping and/or receiving experience is an asset
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A desire to succeed and a good work ethic
  • Good verbal, written, and multi-tasking skills, can-do attitude
  • High-energy, flexible, self-starter, attention to detail
