**Job description**

We are hiring for snow removal, but we hope you will stick around through the transition to lawn season too.

What you can expect:

- Snow removal is challenging from a physical, environmental and scheduling perspective. You need to be in excellent physical healthy and be ready to be on your feet and actively working throughout the day.
- This is not a landscaping or heavy equipment position. This is maintenance work done on residential lawns and snow removal done on residential sidewalks and driveways.
- During the winter we work after every single snow fall. Work typically starts at 7AM and may go as late as 8PM.
- If it doesn't snow, we still pay you a minimum of 120 hours per month.
- You will start with orientation and practical training, then you will work alongside an experienced operator until you have a demonstrated understanding of company and client expectations, safe and efficient operations, and customer service.

Nice to haves:

- Recent experience in commercial snow removal or lawn care
- Clean drivers abstract and you have experience driving pickup trucks with small trailers (under 20 feet and under 10,000 lbs)

Must haves:

- Reliable personal transportation to and from the shop each day
- No criminal record
- You are physically fit, can push or pull up to 60 lbs at a time, and can also be on your feet for 10 hours per day.
- You need to have basic gear such as comfortable footwear and appropriate clothes to be outdoors working during winter. A gear bonus of $200 is available after 1 month.
- Be advised that this job can trigger allergies and asthma.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
