Our Property Claims department is rapidly expanding, and we're looking for an innovative individual who will lead the creation, implementation, and execution of our Quality and Performance Review Program as our **Lead Performance Analyst, Property Claims**.
Reporting into the Claims Performance Manager (CPM), you will be accountable for supporting the delivery of claims handling processes using a combination of file quality analysis and overall file scoring and benchmarking. In this role you will lead the creation of multiple quality scoring initiatives focused on the various components of the claims adjudication process. You will provide detailed analysis of qualitative and quantitative metrics and provide recommendations to Leadership identifying areas of improvement, innovation, and process accountability for all aspects of Property claims.
You will play an integral role in the learning and development program in the Property claims function by providing insights and supporting training programs based on feedback from key stakeholders. You will also assist in the management of vendor quality assurance on behalf of the Property unit.
**What You'll Do**:
- Lead Property claims technical audits & analyses, conducting thorough audits of claims processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze audit outcomes to identify improvement areas and collaborate with the CPM to implement audit recommendations and refine processes.
- Lead in the evaluation of performance metrics of the Property unit, identifying trends and discrepancies, and working with managers to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Analyze current internal employee claims training program and suggest/develop improvements in conjunction with the CPM.
- Develop and oversee a suite of performance metrics for Property operations, using these metrics for forecasting trends & guiding strategic decisions.
**What You'll Need**:
- 2+ years in Data Analytics or Actuarial Science or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Analyst or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent is required.
- Competence in SQL Server and Excel is a requirement.
- Experience in audit, processes & controls.
- Strong understanding of business operations and internal policies/procedures.
- Experience with stakeholder management is an asset.
- CIP / FCIP / CRM Designation is a benefit.
