- Bit Service Company Ltd. is a Saskatchewan manufacturer and distributor of mining products and equipment, founded in 1965.

Locally owned and operated, employing full time professionals between Esterhazy and the head office in Saskatoon, we have grown to provide full design, fabrication and repair of cutting assemblies for underground mining and tunnelling equipment, including cutting optimization and wear reduction.

**About the job-**

The Technical Sales and Service Representative is a professional position that provides support and sales of our products to existing customers, while sourcing out new ones.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing customers
- Prepare and present technical presentations focusing on the company’s value proposition to customer
- Follow customer policies, procedures and standards
- Investigate and aid in resolving customer issues at site
- Research various components and parts
- Maintain regular scheduled visits to customer mine sites
- Develop and build relationships with new clients and sectors
- Assist in new product quoting as required
- Price and prepare quotations to customers based on established company policies
- Support Production and Engineering in product development
- Review customer inquiries and ensure a complete understanding of specifications and requirements
- Provide ongoing after sale support to clients
- Maintain client and vendor relationships with focus on ethics and integrity
- Other duties as assigned to support the organization

**Qualifications**:

- Related post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical discipline
- Experience in mining and manufacturing sector
- Related customer service and business development experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with customers
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer and vendor locations as needed
