**Scope of Position**:
The Development Coordinator is directly responsible to work with the Project Development team in their support of identifying, evaluating, structuring, and developing projects for EDF Renewables (ECDI) with a primary focus on the Canadian renewable energy market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the review, evaluation and submission of Requests for Qualification and Requests for Proposals.
- Support negotiations on behalf of ECDI for the acquisition and development of renewable energy projects.
- Assist in development and maintenance of relationships with business developers, utilities, regulatory and government bodies, and others to assist the business.
- Conduct market research/analysis related to the renewable-energy market across Canada.
- Support in siting and identifying renewable projects in Quebec across Canada.
- Assist in the planning process, internal communications and business updates
- Support budget development and evaluation.
- Support assembly of presentations, letters, story boards, and other communications.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management staff or his/her designee.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Renewable Energy, Engineering or related discipline.
- This position requires to be perfectly bilingual (French and English)
- 1-2 years of experience working in renewable energy or related energy organization/association is considered an asset.
- Able to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management and unaffiliated third parties.
- Experience working with land owners and government agencies preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working with computers, including but not limited to Microsoft-software products.
- Experience with planning and siting of renewable energy projects and ability to use GIS software tools is an asset.
**Working Conditions**:
- Approximately 70% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project), telephones and general office equipment.
- 30% of the time is spent in the field, identifying and developing projects and meeting with appropriate industry representatives and other potential sources of business.
