**Company Overview**:
We are a Toronto based startup, Haste is a dating app focused on bringing people together in person.

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the planning, creation, and execution of engaging social media content across various platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about social media trends, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and increase followers
- Create & edit, schedule, and publish content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and audience engagement, providing timely responses when needed.
- Work on site for social media content creation e.g. shooting outdoors, interviewing people etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of social media initiatives.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Assist in the management of social media collaborations and influencer partnerships.
- Support the creation of visual and written content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and content aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) & video editing tools is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Previous experience in social media management is a plus but not required.
