Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of UAP Recycling Warehouse and Delivery. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations (warehousing, delivery, and carrier operations), and planning the use of materials and warehouse personnel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock, best practices for inventory management
- Create and maintain weekly schedules
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
- Create training utilizing best practices and following OSHA guidelines
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
- Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped promptly
- Manage daily paperwork, and correspondence with logistics companies, as well as deal directly with all driver's incoming and outgoing
- Oversee daily operations
- Work hand in hand with HR to onboard, offboard and track employee performance
- Ensure all orders are ready for fulfillment before driver arrival
- Secure building, handle and maintain all security protocols
- ensure all equipment is functional and working properly every morning
- First one in, last one out.
- Walk the building, make sure dock doors, and all exits are secure
- Designate staff to workstations

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Previous Warehouse Management experience preferred**:

- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate, and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening
- Great interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices, and logistics
- Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Positive attitude and the ability to work individually as well as in a team.
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Capable of lifting heavy objects to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Adheres to all safety guidelines (i.e., proper lifting techniques)
- Able to maintain excellent attendance
- Available for overtime, weekends & holidays as needed.
- The ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment

- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Uniforms provided (mandatory)
- Zero tolerance policy no cellphones on the warehouse floor.
- Composite or steel-toed shoes required (Reimbursement available)
- Ability to work in a variety of temperatures.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
