We are an Ottawa based, full service stone fabricator, specializing in residential and commercial projects for the Builder/Developer community. We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all daily functions of our production department.

We are a fast paced, brand new facility with all new equipment and machinery. We are an eager growing company that needs a strong leader to manage all aspects of our brand new shop. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager, preferably with a strong familiarity in the cabinet or stone industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and mínimal downtime
- Oversee a workforce of 20+ employees in the production department
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
- Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety and integrity
- Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Education
- 5+ years' experience in fabrication industry
- 5+ years' experience in a supervisory capacity
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding communication, organization and leadership skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results driven approach
- Working knowledge of all health and safety statutory regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
