**As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible to provide superior individualized academic support to students. You are joining a dynamic team who want you to make a difference for each student who you have the opportunity of working with**

**Must be available to work a minimum of three days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Saturday.**

**We are currently seeking a qualified Teacher or experienced Tutor who is competent in French at the Elementary and High School level.**

**Essential Job Functions**
- **Instruct students on an as-needed basis**
- **Accurately provide reporting regarding student progress as required**
- **Prepare teaching materials when applicable**
- **Attend training workshops as needed**
- **Complete administrative tasks when required**
- **Achieve Real Life Results for each student Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual Goal Sheet - our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with**

**Requirements**:
**Must be available to work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (after 3pm) and Saturday after (9-1pm)**
- **Ontario certified teacher (preferred)**
- **Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided**
- **Excellent communication skills**
- **Able to work both as a part of a team and independently**
- **Strong communication and multitasking abilities**
- **Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment**
- **Excellent organizational skills**

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Our student teacher ratios have also been reduced.

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (required)
- tutoring: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- French (required)
- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Certified Teacher (preferred)
