Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Use your extensive knowledge of cannabis to educate customers and help them make informed decisions about their purchases.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in legislation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage point of sale checkout, as well as handle cash and transactions through the Cova Point of sale system.
- Accept Uber orders and get them ready for delivery
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, including keeping track of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

**Requirements**:

- A valid Cansell certificate and security clearance.
- A passion for and knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen to and respond to customer needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
- Punctuality and good time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in a cannabis retail environment
- Familiarity with Cova Point of sale system
- Proficient in communication and customer service

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Cansell Certificate (required)
- Police Security Clearance (required)
