What will be your daily pursuit?:
To assist the Operations Manager in the orchestration of the Operations Department, as it pertains
to the Lift, Equipment, Vehicles, Buildings and Grounds. Focusing on personnel and providing
guests with a world class experience. Maintain a safe work environment for all Employees and
Guests.

Compensation:
The starting wage for this role is base on experience.

What will you do in this job?:

- Reports directly to the Operation Manager
- Supervises all front-line operations employees
- Represent the Banff Gondola while maintaining a good working relationship with inspectors,
insurers, suppliers, and Government Regulatory Agencies
- Maintains friendly, professional relationships with all area employees
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager on all aspects of building, equipment, and lift
maintenance
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance procedures for the lift,
equipment, buildings, and vehicles.
- Identifying and implementing facility/equipment needs and improvements; coordinating with the
- Operations Manager the purchase of goods and services required.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of department budgets
- Hiring, training and supervision of all front-line operations employees. Ensuring the team is clear
on their goals and expectations
- Initiating and formulating staff training and development programs.

- Attend weekly leadership team meetings as required.
- Contributes to the overall cleanliness of all Banff Gondola facilities particularly in the Operations
department areas.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of superior safety procedures
and customer service procedures.
- Collaborate in the development and oversight of health and safety practices throughout the Banff
Gondola
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of superior Standard Operating
Procedures (e.g. safety, customer service, emergency procedures).
- Ensuring adherence of operations to Pursuit, Banff Jasper and Viad policies and procedures.

**Ideal Experience**:

- Millwright journeyman status or equivalent required
- Hiring, training and supervision of a diverse team in a dynamic fast paced environment

- Strong customer service skills
- Cost control and budget management
- Driver’s license
- First aid training
