About You

We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager with 5+ years of prior experience in the Personal Insurance Industry. If you are a quick learner, can easily engage in conversations and are comfortable in working with clients on matters concerning Insurance coverage, consulting with them on insurance needs, endorsements, and more, then this could be the role for you We are looking for someone highly motivated, enthusiastic and a great team player who can enable sales and growth for the organization.

## ABOUT THE ROLE

You will have the opportunity to work with our clients and the Sales leadership team, offering fresh ideas and strategic insight while earning commission on your New Business initiatives. Location: Toronto based (hybrid work environment, 3-24 days in-office, 1-2 days remote)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Retain clients through strong relationship management skills by exceeding expectations with day to day customer service, including policy changes, renewals and renewal remarkets to maintain organizations retention objectives
- Ability to advise on coverage’s and policies that best meet the client needs
- Conduct annual reviews with clients to verify limits, uncover new exposures and offer recommendations
- Contribute to premium growth by Cross-selling and Up-selling current portfolio, and referral to other departments
- New business sales opportunities including the ability to earn commission
- Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing insurance products and current market conditions to educate and introduce new products to clients
- Maintain BMS with up to date client information and policy documents
- Issue policies and changes on various carrier portals within binding authority
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insuring partners
- Claims intake and reporting claims to the company
- Claims management and advocacy for our clients
- Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- Insurance Diploma / Post-Secondary education in Business, Insurance or equivalent experience (i.e finance)
- RIBO license (required)
- 5+ years of personal insurance industry experience
- Broad Insurer Portal experience
- Proficiency in G Suite - Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Sheets
- Experience with Applied Epic, ARS and HubSpot is considered an asset
