Fujitsu Canada has an **immediate **opportunity for an experienced **Cloud DevOps Development Lead **to join our dynamic solutions team involved with supporting the delivery of a large scale, Government of Canada IT modernization and transformation initiative.

**Role and Accountabilities**
- Provide advanced level of skills and expertise to design and deploy cloud solutions, and to develop DevOps governance, principles, and best practices using MS Azure, AWS or other cloud service providers.
- Collaborate with developers and end users to identify and evaluate business requirements and translate them into specific cloud-based architecture and solutions, designing new and enhanced cloud implementation architecture.
- Recommend and develop a framework of processes, practices, patterns and standards pertaining to cloud infrastructure and environments.
- Work with clients and advise them on key cloud implementation impacts and decisions concerning the platform and supporting technologies, from an enterprise perspective.
- Produce technical architectures and business solutions that are modifiable, reliable and scalable.
- Lead and participate in technical reviews.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum **5 years’ experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or Architect **overseeing and leading the design and implementations of enterprise level cloud-based solutions.
- **Minimum 5 years’ experience as Engineer or Architect **overseeing and leading the design and/or implementations of **DevSecOps.**:

- Successful delivery of large, complex initiatives across the full SDLC, **including experience in**:

- Build and deployment of solutions.
- Integration across multiple systems
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform and/or Terragrunt)
- Practical experience working in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud technologies, COTS system integration, and modernization of legacy systems.
- Experience leading technical teams using an agile approach.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Able to lead technically through the SDLC (analysis, design, development, build, operation and sustainment) of identified workloads to the Cloud.
- Experience and skills to assure that architectural best practices for agile development.
- Expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and practice.
- Deep and broad approach and expertise with a hyperscale cloud provider that includes Azure or AWS
- Deep understanding and ability to demonstrate a knowledge of the best practices of Azure, AWS or other cloud service providers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively identify, quickly assess and analyze project issues and mitigate risks.
