**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Junior Maintenance Technician plays a hands-on role in ensuring properties' proper functioning and upkeep. The responsibilities include ensuring a safe living environment, addressing preventive and corrective maintenance issues, personally overseeing unit and common area renovations, completing suite turnovers and upholding compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Situated directly east of Deerfoot Trail, provides excellent exposure to 167,000 vehicles per day. Just 5 minutes from downtown, and in a natural setting extending over 20 acres, The Park at Willowglen brings a breath of fresh air to the working environment.
This community of low-rise office buildings has been designed to make your office workspace work to your advantage. Eleven red-brick and metal sided buildings of one, two and three storeys, are combined in a campus-like arrangement, interspersed with gardens, grass and private parking.
**JOB DUTIES**:
- General Building Management knowledge required.
- Operate a variety of equipment such as; truck with a trailer, truck with a snowplow, walk-behind sweeper, backpack blower, lawn mower, string trimmer, hedge pruner, skid steer Perform tasks in snow removal and landscaping such as snow plowing, sweeping, blowing, hauling, shoveling, mowing, trimming, ice melt/prevention, etc.
- General Painting and aesthetic maintenance of common areas
- Garbage removal
- Demonstrate safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
- Respond to service requests and emergencies
- Portray a professional and courteous image of the organization as a front-line contact with clients/tenants
- Perform regular inspections and record keeping of the site locations while ensuring the appearance is in accordance with contract and Company standards
- Minor plumbing and mechanical repairs on base building equipment
- Contacting and managing 3rd party contractors for projects and repairs as required
- A minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience and can demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of building systems and controls, HVAC trouble shooting and repairs, and experience with automation systems would be an asset

**Teamwork**:
Participates actively as a key member of the property management team, fostering collaboration with colleagues and working seamlessly with the property management and maintenance team. Demonstrates strong teamwork and leadership skills, overseeing the training and supervision of staff to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
