**Job Description**:

**Summary**: The Merchandise Warehouse Manager is responsible for scheduling and leading a crew of warehouse associates in work related to the picking of merchandise, organizing shipments for delivery, and the overall management of a warehouse distribution facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, manage, direct, and supervise a team of warehouse employees to achieve the defined goals and activities of the warehouse operation.
- Receive and accurately record all merchandise purchases delivered to the warehouse.
- Utilizing the resources of his/her team, receive and fulfill all merchandise orders, internally and externally, on the defined shipping schedule for each customer group.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies and materials.
- Provide professional customer service at all times.
- Ensure we meet customer’s expectations and report location feedback.
- Supervise the operation of all equipment by all warehouse employees.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of all in-house and off-site work areas. Adhere to all health and safety requirements by the organization.
- Maintain compliance with Federal, State, Municipal, Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of five years working in related field with a successful track record of inventory & warehouse management.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft programs and related warehouse management information systems.
- Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and write; to understand and follow oral and written instructions; to communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational ability is a MUST.
- Ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs = 15%.
- Ability to move/push equipment = 15%
- Sitting/driving = 5%
- Walking/Standing = 50%
- Bending/squatting = 15%
