Bristol Machine Works Limited is an ISO 9001 certified welding and machine shop located in Sudbury, Ontario Canada. We service Sudbury, Northern Ontario and various customers worldwide. Our plants specialize in the manufacturing, fabrication, and repair of a large variety of medium to larger sized products, principally used in all aspects of the mining industry. We are currently operating out of three locations in the Greater Sudbury area.

Bristol Machine Works is currently looking to fill a **Labourer B and Labourer A** positions.

- **We have two classifications of LABOURERS. Duties and responsibilities listed as follows**:_

**Your duties and responsibilities as a Labourer B**:

- Assist in the efficient flow of materials (shipping and receiving)
- Packaging products and material for shipping
- Unloading supplies
- Cleaning of machinery, equipment, and shop areas
- Routine maintenance of machinery, equipment, and shop areas
- Material handling tasks
- Assist in production areas as required
- _**Operating forklift**_
- _**Operating Overhead and Jib Cranes**_

**Your duties and responsibilities as a Labourer A**:

- All duties outlined as above for Labourer B
- Additional responsibilities and duties include but not limited to: kemplating (phosphate dipping), sandblasting and grinding materials on grinding machine.

**What you need**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated
- Must have Secondary School Diploma
- Experience in mining, manufacturing, heavy equipment environment is an asset
- Forklift and overhead crane experience an asset
- Ability to work shift work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.46-$27.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
