**As a People and Culture Manager your responsibilities will include**:
- Lead, train and help our People Managers in the successful attraction, engagement and development of talent
- Advise Business Unit leadership on all P&C related matters consistent with firm strategy, policy, and cultural aspiration
- Connect in inspirational ways with our People & Culture team and work with them to prioritize successful attraction, engagement and development of talent
- Provide coaching, leadership and development to one direct report and support the larger People & Culture Team
- Contribute directly to the development of the Specialty Tax Business Unit’s People Managers by coaching them to excel in their people management responsibilities; navigating regional nuances on a national team
- Reinforce our coaching culture as a way of inspiring our people and our clients
- Support cultural integration of our merged-in colleagues and strategic talent
working with the Leadership team to support our colleagues working as ‘one team’
- Bring the firm’s Purpose to life as the why for all important decisions, goals and activities
- Role model collaboration, shared leadership, inclusion and a coaching orientation in all interactions - every touch leaves a trace
- Execute the National Inclusiveness strategy in the Business Unit to integrate the firm’s commitment to inclusion in all people practices
- Work to ensure effective and inclusive communication throughout the business unit
- Collaborate with your colleagues in Specialty Tax and across the country to execute on the strategic People and Culture vision and share knowledge and best practices
- Execute on the cyclical HR processes and administration for various locations including recruitment, compensation, performance management and talent pipelines
- Organize and facilitate training sessions on key people and culture best practices and cyclical processes. Opportunity to develop or customized Firm aligned training available
- Build knowledge in the business unit about key people touchpoints including the provision of just-in-time training and communication on People & Culture processes, cycles, talent management and our HRIS
- Promote and supports the firm’s employer brand in all activities within the firm and externally
**Preferred location for this role is in our Mississauga or Toronto Ontario office.**
