IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $18 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

The IT Project Manager will lead Businesses and Information Technology projects.

Types of IT projects may include:

- Assessment of new technology solutions and vendors
- Development and implementation of new functionality
- Changes to existing systems
- Upgrades to systems and the build out of technology to IT architectural standards

**What You Will Do**:

- Work with internal business and IT stakeholders, and external stakeholders, to build, manage and update project plans for a full range of project sizes, including complex, multi-year IT projects.
- Prepare and lead regular project meetings for project working teams and steering committees.
- Work with stakeholders to proactively manage risks and resolve issues.
- Provide reporting and support for IT’s project portfolio governance.
- Lead project teams to successfully deliver initiatives, following a standard project management methodology.
- Manage project budgets, including developing accurate project budgets, reporting on actuals and updating forecasts as needed.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Significant experience in project management of IT and organizational change initiatives.
- Experience managing SharePoint implementations is an asset.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
- Stakeholder management experience in a dynamic organization.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required in order to present options and recommendation to senior level stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies and support tools (e.g., MS Project, Waterfall and Agile methodologies, etc.).
