We’re looking for a solid writer and strategic marketer to join our team to help convey the value of Irwin through compelling content and storytelling. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Irwin’s content marketing strategy, with a focus on creating educational and engaging content that positions Irwin as a thought leader in the capital markets space.

You’ll work on content that’s long and short, including blogs, eBooks, case studies, newsletters, and social media copy. You’ll connect editorial decisions with the larger marketing program, build a content pipeline and develop a content calendar. We’re looking for someone who knows what it takes to make a content engine run, and the importance it plays in a B2B company’s growth journey — someone who is curious about who Irwin’s customers are, what stage of the buying journey they are in, and how our content will make them take action.

In this role you will:

- Create and manage a team editorial calendar for content planning and production, and perform regular audits to identify content gap
- Plan, write and provide creative direction for digital content including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, guides, eBooks, video scripts, social media posts, and more to support marketing programs and sales enablement
- Track industry trends and current conversations to produce news articles and short form content that’s easy to digest, educational, and has a point-of-view
- Work closely with other marketing team members to ensure Irwin’s customers are at the forefront of our content by leveraging data and analytics
- Drive ideation and execution of Irwin’s editorial newsletter, sharing valuable content in a compelling format
- Bring client and employee stories to life through case studies and other short-form content formats
- Reach out to key stakeholders for interviews and sound bites to support content, and manage or work closely and manage relationships with external freelancers to create visual assets as needed
- Experiment with different content distribution methods such as audio, video, text, video, illustrations, etc. translate stories across a variety of media formats and channels
- Optimize content for SEO in partnership with Digital Content Manager
- Identify new opportunities for growth including new media formats, channels, messaging and creative
- Own editorial content and communications for Irwin’s new podcast, Winning IR; write edit and publish written and visual content and own the distribution of each episode
- Formalize Irwin’s brand’s voice, tone and messaging and ensure quality and consistency across all internal and external content

This role is an individual contributor reporting to our Director of Brand Marketing and will play a pivotal role on our marketing team to directly impact demand gen and brand awareness results.

About you:

- 3-5+ years of experience writing in the B2B, SaaS or technology space
- You have an opinion, and you’re not afraid to voice it
- You love staying on top of trends and discussing your point of view on what’s happening in the world
- You have a passion for writing, copywriting, proofreading and editing
- You understand the inner workings of the public markets
- **A background in finance/capital markets writing or a journalism background would be a plus
