Plumbing Foreman

Our Foremen/women play a paramount role in our Organization. They ensure that our projects are on track, and work with our team to support the project throughout.

We are looking for Forepersons in the **Ottawa area** and the **Outaouais area.**

**Job responsibilities** include but not limited to:

- Leading a team a mechanical and/or plumbing projects
- Providing guidance and continuing education to the project site team
- Review and inspect company safety
- Review and inspect work for quality control
- Review time and procedure of project scope
- Identification of risks
- Participation in company meetings
- Participation in project meetings
- Coordination of equipment delivery
- Liaison between the office and the project team

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years experience in plumbing and/or mechanical systems
- 1-2 years minimum experience as a Project lead or Foreman/woman
- Attention to finishing details of a project
- Bilingualism is highly recommended
- Proficiency in construction concepts and terminology
- Knowledge in the following Project software’s is considered an asset which include Plangrid, Smartsheet and BIM 360
- Understanding of mechanical and plumbing specifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian Building Code Ontario or Quebec Plumbing Code
- Must be a licensed journeyman/woman plumber or licensed steamfitter.
- Must be self-motivated, have leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Must have strong general technical computer skills.
- Gas license is an asset
- Must have managed a project with a minimum of 1-3 workers

**Nos contremaîtres** jouent un rôle primordial dans notre organisation. Ils veillent à ce que nos projets soient sur la bonne voie, tant sur le terrain que dans les bureaux.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un contremaître/une contremaîtresse de finition dans la **région d'Ottawa** et dans **la région de l'Outaouais.**

**Les responsabilités** du poste comprennent, entre autres, les suivantes
- Diriger une équipe chargée de la finition de projets de mécanique et/ou de plomberie.
- Fournir des conseils et de la formation continue à l'équipe du site du projet
- Examiner et inspecter la sécurité de l'entreprise
- Examiner et inspecter le travail pour le contrôle de la qualité
- Examiner le temps et la procédure de la portée du projet
- Identification des risques
- Participation aux réunions de l'entreprise
- Participation aux réunions de projet
- Coordination de la livraison des équipements
- Liaison entre le bureau et l'équipe de projet

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 ans d'expérience en plomberie et/ou systèmes mécaniques
- 1 à 2 ans d'expérience minimum en tant que chef de projet ou contremaître.
- Attention aux détails de finition d'un projet
- Le bilinguisme est fortement recommandé
- Maîtrise des concepts et de la terminologie de la construction
- La connaissance des logiciels de projet suivants est considérée comme un atout : Plangrid, Smartsheet et BIM 360.
- Compréhension des spécifications mécaniques et de plomberie
- Excellentes compétences en communication
- Connaissance du Code canadien du bâtiment et du Code de la plomberie du Québec ou Ontario.
- Doit être un compagnon plombier ou un monteur de conduites de vapeur autorisé.
- Doit être motivé, avoir des compétences en leadership, en planification et en organisation.
- Doit posséder de solides compétences techniques générales en informatique.
- La licence de gaz est un atout.
- Doit avoir géré un projet avec un minimum de 1 à 3 travailleurs.
