Fundraising and Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising & Capital Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives and donor cultivation events.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify funding opportunities and sponsorship leads for the Centennial Capital Campaign.
- Help implement strategies to raise funds for major capital improvements, including facility upgrades and new performance spaces.

Advertising & Sponsorship Sales
- Sell advertising space in our digital lobby displays and printed show programs across Theatre Sarnia’s 5-show season.
- Secure show sponsors for Imperial Presents programming and Theatre Sarnia productions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and corporate partners.
- Prepare customized sponsorship packages and presentations tailored to client needs.

Administration & Reporting
- Track sales targets, sponsorships, and donor engagement activity.
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, communications, and financial commitments.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to the Executive Director and relevant committees.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales, sponsorship, or fundraising (preferably in the arts or non-profit sector).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with creating donor databases or CRM software is an asset.
- Knowledge of the local business community is considered a strong asset.

Contract Details:

- This is a full-time, 12-month contract position, with possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $38,995.52-$51,235.36 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sarnia, ON N7T 5T9
