**Experience**:
Basic knowledge or understanding of:

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Commerce, (Master’s preferred),
- Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist the Sales Department on large complex projects (duties include site survey, estimating time and materials, preparation of as-built drawings, job costing and budget control, document management, etc.).
- Manage project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success.
- Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and micro-deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to develop an installation project plan, schedule equipment ordering and delivery, schedule labour, etc.
- Assign projects to lead technicians/ technicians/ subcontractors based on their experience and availability and guide the teams throughout their efforts to produce deliverables according to specification.
- Reallocate resources across multiple projects where necessary; identify and resolve any resource allocation discrepancies.
- Solicit project pricing from subcontractors and issue approved purchase orders when required.
- Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers, such as consultants, contractors, and other specialists.
- Track all project costs to ensure completion within budget; procure extra budget funding where necessary.
- Schedule and attend internal start up meetings, mandatory site meetings, kick off pre-construction meetings, and site inspections for all projects as required.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders as necessary (informing them of any changes).
- Ensure installation quality standards are met or surpassed.
- Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Establish and deliver mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders via a formal communications plan.
- Produce regular reports on the progress of projects; deliver these reports during regular stakeholder meetings.
- Review finished projects, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Direct work experience in project management.
- Direct work experience in the security industry (experience with CCTV, access control, intercom, alarm, door installation, ADOs, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
- Valid G driver’s licence
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
- Experience with project management software tools
- Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills.
- Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.
- Strong knowledge of financial management.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with all stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
