**Junior Health and Safety Consultant (Full-time)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the WSIB Health and Safety Excellence program (HSEp) for participating clients
- Develop, implement and oversee the delivery of products and services for the WSIB HSEp
- Provide education, advice and program support to client members on the development and implementation of health and safety programs as a WSIB HSEp Provider
- Create resources, tools and presentation materials for client members to assist with successfully meeting the program requirements
- Monitor and evaluate to ensure the program content is effectively and consistently delivered
- Collaborate with WSIB consultants and partners and recommend marketing and recruitment strategies
- Support other NORCAT Advisory projects as required, including the development of client-specific training content.

**Experience, Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Two years as a technical writer, researcher or equivalent experience demonstrated by a portfolio of work
- Post-secondary education in a relevant area of specialization (Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources)
- A Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) is an asset
- Experience working within the mining or construction industry in a health and safety capacity
- Experience in developing health and safety manuals is an asset
- Professionalism and demonstration of integrity and honesty while performing responsibilities
- Excellent research, grammatical and written communication skills in English
- Excellent relationship building, customer service, organizational and analytical skills
- Particular attention to detail
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic and time management skills/ability to work to deadlines with shifting priorities
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

**Salary**: $45,000 - $50,000 Annually depending on experience and skills.
