Position Summary
This position is responsible for all fitness programming and development of fitness and wellness programming, including staff recruitment, supervision and training, program recruitment/design, marketing and staff scheduling. The incumbent will co-ordinate all partnerships with external partners and various fitness program leads along with drafting of rental contracts. The purpose of the position is to broaden the student’s educational experience through the development of quality extracurricular opportunities relating to active lifestyle and wellness. The incumbent will be responsible to incorporate risk mitigation measures to ensure the day to day operations are safe for all users of the facility. Reporting to the Director of Public Safety and Risk Management, the Supervisor Health and Wellness is responsible for providing creative and innovative leadership.

Minimum of three (3) years
Type of Experience
Demonstrated track record in fitness and recreation program growth & development
Minimum 3-5 years related supervisory experience in fitness related facility
Preferred additional work experience in wellness programming
Team Building facilitation experience
Leadership experience in a post-secondary environment
Human Resource and Financial Management experience
Thorough knowledge of the Fitness and Wellness industry
