**Duties**
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate and maintain CCTV equipment to ensure effective monitoring of designated areas.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and reporting them accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for management review.

**Skills**
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid & Level C CPR certification
- Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems - this is a bonus
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
