A career at InnVest will provide you with unrivaled opportunities and invaluable exposure to Canada’s largest independently-owned and operated hotel portfolio. **YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU**: - Flourish in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. - Can see the big picture and act proactively with a solution-focused mindset. - Have the ability to “Respond to Cues”. - Thrive on “Creating Personal Connections”. - Can “Make it Brilliant”. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**: - Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including but not limited to dish machine; dishware washing. - Facilitate the sorting and storing of all clean china, glass, and silver. - Wash and disinfect kitchen and dish room area. - Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures. - Responsible for the breakdown of trays; washing of china, glass, and silver; and stocking and distributing clean items, using specified procedures. - Actively promote accident prevention by keeping all areas swept clean and dry at all times and using wet floor signs.Dispose of garbage, glass, cardboard in proper containers. - Ensure all cleaned wares are stacked as per procedures in an appropriate safe manner. - Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. - Stand, sit or walk for an extended period. - Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. - Complete other reasonable assigned duties - Other reasonable duties as required. **JOB SPECIFICATIONS**: - Education/Experience:_ - Previous Stewarding experience or a similar environment (asset). - Previous kitchen experience (asset). - Complexity/Analysis:_ - Dedicated, honest, and reliable. - Must have a neat appearance with a proper clean uniform, - Energetic demeanor with the ability to perform physically demanding duties (standing, lifting, moving items). - Must be available for various shifts (weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays). - Able to work independently. - Must be able to work with little supervision. **About the Ottawa Marriott Hotel** Experience modern style and sincere service at Ottawa Marriott Hotel, centrally located in the heart of Canada’s capital city.
