This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to ensure the efficient operation of the portfolio(s), through accurate, timely and efficient execution of confidential administrative support functions for Directors. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the administrative team to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s objectives. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested. **Human Resources Exemption**:No **Experience** - "3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant-type role " **Education** - Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course **Other Education and Training** - Equivalent combination of education and experience **Competencies** - Advanced - Decision making skills - Advanced - Planning skills - Advanced - Organizational skills - Advanced - Communication skills - Advanced - Problem solving skills - Advanced - Collaborative skills **Knowledge and Abilities** - Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information - Knowledge in minute taking - Excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness - Can maintain confidentiality including confidential information with discretion. - Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access). - Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships - Knowledge in the Saskatchewan health care system - Knowledge in First Nation and Metis history in Saskatchewan - Ability to adapt to changing conditions - Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action - A valid driver's license and licensed/registered vehicle is required. - Commitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safety - Superior interpersonal, communication and writing skills - Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm - Ability to be self-directed, creative, collaborative and to have sound judgement **Other Information** - Ability to travel when required The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
