The Specialist will analyze and evaluate data, perform root cause analysis, present recommendations, and implement/execute solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Conducts data/process/business analysis and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency in EDI and Supply Chain operations - Drives Supply Chain initiatives through EDI enablement (i.e. Drop Ship, 3PL, systems integration) - Supports all lines of business (GM, Trade, Drop Ship, VMI), vendors and third-party systems with EDI document and process adoption to deliver desired business results, ensure document flow and enable speed to market - Provides mapping and integration to third party service providers to integrate with Indigo ERP via EDI standards. - Performs Requirement Analysis for ERP improvements and new processes to replicate them via EDI - Performs internal end-to-end testing in SAP to ensure accurate integration between EDI X12 Documents and SAP IDocs - Provides clear status updates to management on the progress with all on-going EDI implementations - Supports expansion of the eCatalogue for efficient product onboarding - Supports the transition of new vendors to EDI at point of onboarding, to deliver EDI adoption metrics - Develops innovative tools and solutions for Vendor Onboarding process - Coordinates end-to-end EDI testing with vendors - Enhances EDI document validation to reduce document failures and improve vendor performance - Identifies and communicates with vendors on non-compliance concerns and disputes (as per Indigo Vendor Manual) - Engages in post go-live support; monitors production environment and proactively prioritizes, communicates, and resolves any EDI process or system issues both internal and with vendors - Establishes signoff criteria and go-live date with vendors - Develops, modifies, and documents mappings as per EDI specifications - Resolves EDI issues pertaining to mapping, communications, and SAP - Supports Retail and DC teams to resolve EDI related operational issues and maintain inbound flow at all store, DC and 3PL locations; investigates quarantine issues and resolves root cause - Maintains Service Level Agreements (SLAs) internally and externally for issue resolution - Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily - Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself - Help others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get input - Encourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback - Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do - Celebrate diversity of thought and have an open mindset - Take an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakes - Embrace, champion and influence change through your team and/or the organization **Qualifications**: WHO YOU ARE: - Minimum 3 years’ EDI experience at a functional user level preferred - Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting internal / external customer issues (e.g. Help Desk/Retail) - Post-secondary degree or diploma - Experience with X12 Standards and its corresponding formats - High degree of adaptability and agility - Strong technical aptitude - Ability to utilize technical skills and knowledge of the business to facilitate effective solutions; actively curious to learn "why" issues are occurring with a goal to improve - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at variou
