Furthermore, Deer Creek Golf & Banquet Facility is the only facility in all of Ontario to host full-service golf tournaments for up to 400 players.
Salary $20/hr

Responsibilities for stewarding supervisor
- Responsibility for all training related to the Golf Course emergency procedures
- Takes inventory of existing china, glassware, and reports to Executive Chef/ Director of Food and Beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of back of the house Food & Beverage areas, including silverware, cutlery, glassware
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner on-duty and off-duty with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest or staff’s view
- Assist in supervising the stewarding function in assigned kitchen areas to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with state and local health regulations. Ensure all Stewarding Colleagues arrive for their scheduled shift punctually and in clean and correct uniform, following up on any report of tardiness or failure to sign in or out
- Monitor performance of the stewards and provide direction and recommend corrective action
- To supervise and direct staff, including temporary personnel
- To ensure proper set up for all banquet functions on his/her shift
- To ensure that all food and equipment on menus are delivered on time to all functions
- To see that utility stewards maintain the areas in which the functions are taking place
- To make sure that all functions are set up and ready for the next shift

Qualifications for stewarding supervisor
- High school diploma or GED required; culinary degree preferred
- Must be able speak, read and understand basic directions
- Minimum two year supervisory experience, preferably in a full service stewarding operation
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Closely work together with the Executive Chef on development of the department according to divisional objectives
