**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator is responsible for running the package labelers or package fillers related to cannabis beverage production. This requires accurate completion of all associated processes and competent use of equipment.

We are offering a $2000 sign on bonus, and a $1000 retention bonus after 1 year of service

**Schedule**:

- Monday - Friday: 9am - 5:30pm (with option to work later if required)

**As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for**:

- Back-up Operating PET filler and canning line under the guidance of the Production Manager
- Oversight of downstream production after the filling machines, under the guidance of the Production Manager
- Providing oversight to the bottle packing team comprised of general laborers
- Ensure all packaging materials are on the floor for daily production runs
- Examine materials, or products to ensure conformance to established standards
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Strictly adhering to and observing all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
- Cleaning equipment and work area between lots and setting up equipment for batches
- Performing general housekeeping of the production area which includes keeping all materials off the floor, returning equipment & materials to proper storage area after each lot
- Working closely with the Production Manager to anticipate, resolve and meet production demands in real time
- Monitoring processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Update all SOP documentation and logbooks daily (production and safety)
- Perform other duties as assigned

**As a Machine Operator you bring**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with labeling equipment, in-line printers, machine configurations, troubleshooting and operation in a beverage or food manufacturing environment
- 2+ years experience running high speed beverage filling machines
- Experience with Aesus labellers and Domino and Videojet label printers an asset
- Experience with CASK or CFT filling machines an asset
- Experience setting up and examining beverage can seams and asset
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and be able to multi-task production duties
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Mechanically inclined with a mathematical and technical aptitude
- Knowledge of cGMP an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
