Barrie, Canada IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. Full time

The IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. is looking to hire one qualified PSW to work in a Community Home Care Setting.

Qualifications:

- Possess a Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent as per O. Reg. 79/10 of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007;
- Two (2) years' related experience working providing Community Care/Services - preferred;
- Proficient working knowledge of computers and computer literacy
- required;
- Experience with Procura would be considered an asset; and
- Additional studies completed in Activation Techniques, Gerontology, First Aid and/or CPR - preferred.
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be deemed qualifying. Preferred areas are considered an asset and will be deemed as more qualifying._

**DUTIES**:

- Housekeeping/laundry
- Emergency response
- Providing support with the activities of daily living to seniors in residential apartments

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 - 30 per week
