**Responsibilities**:

- Primarily operate 15-35T excavators and other equipment to perform civil work
- Fill out and understand an equipment logbook
- Perform daily basic service and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and Labourers, and acts accordingly
- Recognize existing and potential hazards and know how to identify these through conducting a field level pre-job hazard analysis, checking the machine for hazards and assessing any tasks before starting
- Operate equipment in a safe manner be willing to comply with Ledcor’s safety commitments

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating excavators and Dozers
- Demonstrate skills and experience with finish grade work
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid government photo ID (driver’s license, passport etc.)
- Client online orientations must be completed

Work Conditions:

- Position commencing as soon as possible
- Work schedule: 4 days on, and 3 days off plus statutory holidays off, 40 hours per week
- Must be flexible with working potential overtime / days as and when needed
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
