Job Duties:

- Primary support to the Assistant Catering Manager;
- Conducting venue site visits; recording details within the electronic catering program
- Create, submit and monitor rental orders depending upon client requests; works with venue, client and rental company to coordinate logistics; submitting AGCO forms as required
- Coordinate onsite and offsite event files for all Captains; communicates event details with Captains and Event Staff
- Prepare and assembles all non-food related materials for events such as food signs, menus, décor, etc.
- Supervises off site events from start to finish when required; provides leadership and direction to servers and bar tenders
- Processes all post-event related reports and reconciliations
- Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-years supervisory and bar management experience would be an asset
- Smart Service Certification is a must
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Reliable Transportation and valid Driver’s License; a driver’s abstract will be required
- Good proficiency and experience with word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), company software and database programs
- Bilingual is an asset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid knowledge of catering service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
- General physical wellness; ability to stand, lift, move etc. for long periods of time
- Successful Police Check will be required
- Government Clearance may be required
- Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS Training would be an asset
- Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
- bar management: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Smart Serve (preferred)
- Police Check (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)

Work Location: One location
