**About the Opportunity**

Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant-Receptionist at our Calgary location. This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for any visitors coming to Foremost, clerical duties and overall support to accounts receivable and accounts payable. This position will receive visitors, answer telephones, perform data entry, maintain files and supplies, create account receivable invoices, and assist with tradeshow and travel bookings. This role will provide administrative support to multiple departments within Foremost as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as first point of contact for vendors, customers, job applicants and other visitors
- Answer, screen and direct calls
- Receive and send all mail and courier packages
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing documents, spreadsheet preparation, maintaining filing and record systems
- Order and receive office supplies
- Daily bank deposits
- Creation and distribution of accounts receivable invoices
- Backup for accounts payable functions
- Photocopying, scanning and printing documents as requested for multiple departments
- Corporate travel bookings
- Coordination of tradeshow events
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Other clerical tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a post-secondary accounting or business related diploma program would be considered an asset
- 2 years’ experience in administrative duties, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, etc. A combination of education and work experience would also be considered.
- Previous experience with travel coordination would be considered an asset
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office suites of products: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail is a critical skill to be successful in this role.
- Effective written and telephone communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize is essential
- Dependable, self-motivated, and strong work ethic
- Punctuality, dependability, and excellent time management is essential
- Excellent customer service orientation
