We're growing Urban Quarry is currently seeking 2 full-time **CNC Machine** **Operators** for the following shift:
- Day shift - Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm
You will help fabricate Natural stone surfaces for Residential and commercial sites. Operators may include but not limited to countertops, Vanity top, Fireplace surrounds, shower walls Etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Loading / unloading Machines
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Able to perform general daily maintenance on the machine, the tooling, and keep a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure to follow production schedules and maintain production quotas
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Operate overhead cranes / manzzelli or forklifts
- Takes direction well, good attitude, punctual, hardworking.
- Stand for long periods with frequent lifting (up to 100 lbs.) and bending
- Work in high production environment.
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Able to work overtime as required to maintain production schedules
- Following direction from foreman meet production deadlines
- Follow safe work practices
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Work, train, and assist at the production facility when required
- Always maintain Health and Safety while at work
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Understand and comply with all Policies and Procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Related education and/or previous experience in a similar industry currently working in the trade desirable
- Computer literacy skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Encompass a positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Work with a team and make sound decisions
- High level of responsibility and reliability.
- Bilingual (Fluent in English and French) Desirable
**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
- Lifting and manipulation of objects of 100 lbs + with assistance
- Wet and noisy environment
- Use of personal protection equipment is required (e.g., hard-hat, safety boots, safety glasses.)
- The Operators may be exposed to hazards associated with the industry
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred
