**Salary**:
Classification 9, $23.85 - $24.59 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Vacation is pro-rated and front-loaded (approximately 49.75 hours/year). In addition to vacation time, we offer additional time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. The Christmas closure during the period of Dec 25 - Jan 1st of each year is paid time off. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits once the probationary period has been met.

This position is provided with a seasonal layoff notice (approx. late June/early July with recall each year for late August/early September).

**Description**:
The Regional Bookstore Retailer is part of a team that operates the Fort St John Campus Bookstore and supports bookstore services throughout the NLC region. Duties include processing textbook orders, receiving and unpacking inventory, stocking counters and shelves, pricing and ticketing merchandise, assisting in the display of merchandise, and assisting bookstore patrons. Moderate to heavy lifting is required for dealing with shipping and receiving textbook orders. The hours of work will be flexible in order to provide optimum coverage and opening hours for the store.
