Established in 1988, Prosysco Ltd. is a Canadian company recognized as a successful design / build organization specializing in custom high purity process systems and equipment.
Prosysco Ltd. is looking for a Junior Automation Specialist to join its growing team.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Assist with electrical designs for control panels and process systems
- Create electrical Bill of Materials
- Programming of PLC’s and HMI’s
- Assist with documentation development as required for individual projects
- Identify potential issues and risks in order to proactively manage and resolve with mínimal impact on timing and budget
- Travel required for commissioning and start-up of new equipment at customers’ facilities
- Collaborate with Senior Automation Specialists from conception to completion of project
- Regularly report on current project status to direct superior

**Experience**
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment

Minimum 1 year of PLC and HMI programming experience with a focus on Rockwell software
- Studio 5000 and FTView Studio
- Experience in other software platforms and high-level programming languages are an asset
- Experience with network architecture design and system virtualization
- Experience in Database development
- Experience in Autocad/Electrical design
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering in Electrical, System design or related program from a recognized engineering faculty or equivalent qualification
- 1+ years experience in the Automation industry as an Engineer, Technologist
- A valid Class G license
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a comprehensive team
- Strong attention to detail and organization

**Salary**: $49,599.05-$59,599.05 per year
