Progressive Automations is looking for a new **Warehouse Associate** to join our Richmond team.
Our Warehouse staff are responsible for managing all inventory that enters and exits our warehouses. Working closely with other warehouse employees and sharing most of the duties, effective communication is a key to success. We are looking for someone who possesses high levels of attention to detail, is comfortable using various technology platforms, and has experience working in a safe and courteous manner in a Warehouse capacity.
**Job Duties**:
- Releasing, picking, packing and staging orders for shipment
- Create shipping labels and other required documents for a for domestic and international shipments
- Updating and maintaining Warehouse Management System (Netsuite) through cycle counts and utilization of bin/floor space management
- Communicating with various departments including sales and customer support to ensure that customers receive shipments in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Utilizing systems and process in place to receive incoming shipments and returns.
- Performing inventory counts
- Maintaining a presentable appearance of the warehouse for occasional customer pick-ups
- Coordinating with and assisting shipping carriers to ensure orders are shipped on-time.
- Other warehouse related duties.
**Requirements**:
- High school or equivalent
- Physical demands including pushing and pulling of product and the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs unassisted
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy to process orders and communicate with other staff.
- Must be self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful workplace
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable communicating with staff from multiple other departments.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker is an asset
- Previous basic experience driving a forklift is an asset (certification will be provided).
