**Responsibility**:Providing supports to people with intellectual disabilities who require specialized behavioural supports to live fulfilled lives.

**Job Requirements**:
MUST HAVE:

- Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station within the last 12 months
- Valid Ontario G2 or G driver's license
- Must provide Driver's Abstract
- **OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:_
- Completed/currently pursuing a related education (D.S.W, C.Y.W or equivalent) in the area of intellectual disabilities and/or a demonstrated interest
- Knowledge and experience providing specialized behavioural supports related to dual diagnosis, trauma-informed care, and verbal and physical aggression
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing NVCI (CPI) techniques
- Proven ability to implement and follow behaviour protocols with extensive data collection, while working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs such as Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, E-mail and Internet

**PREFERRED**:

- Experience in supporting people with developmental disabilities, aggressive behavioural challenges and Autism
- Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Training or Certificate
- Anxiety Disorder Training or Certificate
- Knowledge and experience with adaptive communication and American Sign Language
- Access to a vehicle
