**Responsibilities**:

- Control the execution of all outbound shipments of finished goods and the processing of inbound returns
- Oversee the daily functions of the shipping department
- Manage office personnel, forklift drivers, stackers, pickers, and packers
- Oversee the staging of customer deliveries for shipment
- Implement all company standard operating procedures
- Ensure that the proper processes are put into place to ensure that company SOP's are followed by all personnel within the warehouse
- Keep shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency
- Establish a level of acceptable performance for personnel and mentor to exceed daily expectations.
- Work closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all procedures are followed and recorded
- Responsible for cross training of personnel
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment
- Evaluate carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bilingual English & Spanish required
- Previous apparel or soft good shipping/warehouse experience
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Great interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
- Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
