Ajax, Canada R&R Management and Services Full time

We are looking for an Associate Lawyer with minimum experience of two years in family law.

**Responsibilities**

As part of our growing firm, you will be responsible for managing the clients files throughout the entirety of the case which will include:

- Interviewing the clients;
- Drafting court documents;
- Representing the clients in court on Motions; Conferences and Trials;
- Negotiating settlements;
- Attending examination for discovery;
- Drafting Financial Statements;
- Drafting Separation, Cohabitation and Parenting Agreements;
- Carrying out all other functions as necessary to advance the clients cases

**Qualifications**
- Completion of law school with an LLB or JD and admission to the Bar in Ontario;
- Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario;
- Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- Knowledge of legal and family court procedures and forms;
- Knowledge of standard office equipment, Microsoft 365 or equivalent word processing software;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal and priority-setting skills;
- Professional and positive demeanor; Proficient drafting and research skills;
- A self-started that works well independently and

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Family Law: 2 years (required)
