We are looking for Packers who meet the following criteria.

**Primary Function**:
Responsible for packaging, weighing, labelling and loading materials. The Packer will perform quality checks for defective items and ensure all materials make it to the loading area for inventory while keeping a detailed record.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail paired with the ability to multitask
- Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)

**Responsibilities**:

- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
- Examine and inspect materials to ensure packaging specifications are met
- Move completed materials to loading dock.
- Identify and remove defective material
- Keep record of all product, packaging, and order information on specified forms
- Properly use hand tools
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Able to manage medium to heavy materials, tact and judgement
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area

**This is a day shift position: Monday to Thursdays 7:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 7:00am - 3:30pm**
