Household Cleaner and Infant Nanny

We are a busy professional couple with an 8 month old baby. We are looking for an experienced and caring nanny to help us provide a nurturing environment for our baby and to do light housekeeping while the baby is napping.

Our usual nanny is away from mid August until the end of September and we are looking for a short term nanny to cover that period of time.

Hours of work are Tuesday to Friday from 1-5 pm or 12-5 pm. The start time is flexible and based on your preference.

In this dual role, you will be responsible for both the care of our baby and managing household tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
**Infant Care Responsibilities**:
Provide attentive and loving care for our baby, including feeding, cloth diapering, and soothing.

Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for the baby.

Assist with sleep training and developmental milestones.

Prepare and sterilize bottles, and follow feeding and sleeping schedules.

**Housekeeping Responsibilities**:
Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including dishes, laundry, cleaning, and tidying.

Manage baby-related tasks, such as washing and organizing baby clothes and linens.

**Qualifications**:
Experience caring for babies.

Knowledge of infant care best practices, including safe sleep guidelines and developmental milestones.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.

**Skills**:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and a gentle demeanour.

Ability to work independently and follow parents’ guidelines.

Strong attention to detail.

Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.

Please note we have two friendly cats, our home is located in central Edmonton.

**How to Apply**:
