Reception/accounting Clerk

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Greet customers upon their arrival at the dealership
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, and direct call to appropriate individual
- Handle general inquiries from callers
- Communicate with all callers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner and attempt to minimize amount of time they are placed on hold
- Refer messages to correct party in a timely manner
- Perform clerical duties such as arranging for couriers and proof reading
- Process accounting files for all departments
- Responsible for cash balancing,
- Process accounts receivables and collections
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Stocking in of new and used vehicles
- Process receivables from manufacturer; co-op advertising; rebates; warranty claims
- Assist in preparation of monthly statements through reconciliations of various accounts
- Opportunity to grow into other roles

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in accounting
- Valid drivers license and an acceptable drivers abstract
- Strong customer service, computer and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
