As a member of the Settlements & Reconciliation team, you are a critical part of the process that ensures the smooth execution of securities transactions. You will play an integral role in supporting successful trade clearing and settlements for our Investment Advisors and Institutional Trading team. This will include both the handling and administration of physical securities, re-organizations, and warrant exercises, and the administration and settlement of electronic securities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and review the trade reconciliation process at both Trade Date and Settlement Date levels, and provide direction as needed;
- Supervise Canadian and US trade settlements, including DAP trades, Balance Orders, and New Issues;
- Oversee and review the Segregation control process;
- Act as principal contact for securities lending, reconcile and process loan fees and rebates;
- Monitor recalls/repays and margin calls daily;
- Process entitlements, receives/deliveries, transfers, exchanges, and warrant exercises for both electronic and physical securities as necessary;
- Process approved cost adjustments, stock donations, and securities movements, both in-house and through CDS/DTCC;
- Securities Box counts;
- Printing and distribution of daily reports;
- Monitor, generate, and disseminate warrant expiry information to Investment Advisors on a timely basis and
- Process DTCC client account transfers.

- Flexible and enjoys an environment where responsibilities include a variety of tasks which may vary depending on company needs;
- Strong organization skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Experience with Dataphile preferable and
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an investment industry back office.
